Everyone loves to label things, especially other people. You can listen to others' opinions on topics, but when it comes to your life--just don't. Don't take it with a grain of salt. Don't take it at all. Be busy visualizing what you have and want in life instead of wasting energy giving into someone else's visual of yours.
Maybe you get what you put in. Maybe you get everything you've never wanted. Do we manifest what we believe in or what we are most scared of? If I can't appreciate a small blessing, could I appreciate a miracle?
Some moments, this is what life feels like. In these moments, it's easier to accept that happiness just isn't in the works for you and admit that the world is as bad as you feel. You get a gold star for self pity...and bonus points for roping a friend in to feel the same way.
Going to a friend to find opinions is waste of time. Opinions don't change how you feel. Your actions and genuine realizations can, so it's important to walk down a path that feels right for you. You can try walking down someone else's highly recommended path and still feel unsatisfied. You are an intricate soul made of an unrepeatable combination of varying levels of experiences, values, desires, shortcomings, and core beliefs. Stop looking at others' paths. They probably suck anyways. Pick yourself up and head down your own path with a devious smirk on your face and an exciting adventure in your head. What do you have to lose?
Next time someone gives you an unsolicited opinion or judgement on you, say "thank you", and get back to doing whatever the fuck you you want to do. Don't waste time accepting the opinions of people that have no tools and nothing better to do than sit back and judge.
Life is a couple blinks of an eye.
